Clarkii Clowns and Dragon Goby

I noticed a group of Clarkii clowns (about 5 or 6) swimming in a corner. They were swimming over each other fighting for the point. It began when I turned off the lights shortly after receiving them. Any time I look in the tank they are behaving this way. I have no clue why they do this so if somebody could shine some light, it'd be greatly appreciated. All are ~1.5-2.5 in too which means they are fairly young? (I'm not sure how to judge age as well)

Also, I saw a cool looking fish labeled "Banded Dragon Goby". Which is it: A banded or a dragon goby? I hate the ambiguity of common names. I'd love some information on the level/manner of care, temperment, etc.

Thanks.

Clownfish will exist in all but very large tanks as pairs. Only. They will winnow the number down until there are just two left. At the moment, they are testing dominance. So, you can reduce the number to two or they will reduce the number to two.

Nice. I didnt ever think of it as a battle of dominance. Are they still asexual at this point in their lives? I believe they start out as males and then become females.

They start as juveniles and then evolve. However at the size you stated, they may have already started.
