Any special thing I need to do to pot before I pit it in the tank?
what size clay pots are people using
Certainly, but if you keep many pairs of different species,it helps to use one size for all.I think the most ideal size for the clay pot would depend on the size and species of clownfish you are trying to breed... For instance my perculas consistently lay in a 4" pot, but if you had a larger species of clownfish, like maroons, then a 6" would def. be the way to go.
How do you break out the bottom so that they don't get cut on it as they swim through it?
Clay pots are soft. You can cut them with a hacksaw. Sand any rough spots after cutting.
any sanding paper or is there a special one for the clay pots that you use for sanding them?
thanks other question anyone ever tried to move eggs from clown fish 20 minutes away if so what did you do to keep them alive
20 minutes away from hatch time or 20 minutes after they lay the eggs?
