I think Sea Schor might still have a deal on their cleaner crew...check them out! Matt at Sho Tank always seems to have a ton of cleaner crew available...

etropicals.com has good prices too and free shipping on the "build your own" cleaner crews

I've ordered some of my crew from them and was very satisfied.

I got my crew from keycritters, very happy with it. I went with 100 cerith, 100 nasarus, and 50 blue leg. All were alive and very healthy. etropicals would be like atleast 3 times the cost of keyscritters.

ya could'nt get over the prices on keycritters
plus shipping included cant go wrong lol
would'nt even have to split orders there

Just don't mix the snails and bluelegs or you are just feeding lunch to the crabs. For my money I prefer the jumbo tongan nassarius. Those are harder to get from lfs, though someone got them recently from Reef Plus and I know Ocean Design carries them.

Reeftopia is another good source.

But for online stuff I always go for Premium Aquatics. They have the trochus, which live (unlike astraeas) and they can get the tongan nassarius too. I like ceriths and nerites too, and ceriths in a fuge will reproduce successfully.

It's true the blue legs will eat some snails. I find them interesting little guys and they havent much of a dent in my snail population.

Im not a big fan of a "crew". I like to hire the right maman to complete th etask at hand. Hiring a whole construction crew to fix a leaky faucet in a waste of time and money, and may cause more dammage than what is being fixed. A single plumber will do the job for you. No sence in having the electrican come along too.

If your having issues with algaes building on the glass, Go to your LFS and get some snails. Dont get more than you need though, because they may die/starve and create more issues.

Im not a big fan of hermits if I dont have some turf algaes growing, but if I do, I am not afraid of getting a few,

Same with emeralds.. If I dont have bubble algaes, I wouldnt add any.

Peppermint shrimp.. Kinda cool, but only if I have aiptasia problems.

Sally lightfoots.. Too creepy for me...

Cucubbers.. If you have a DSB that you are going to leave alone, a cuc or 2 would be cool, but Id let the bacterias build a bit first.. ..

Getting what you need when/as you need it is the best way IMO, and it will also support you LFS. I am sure that Matt will be able to help you out with what you need. He seems like a good store to support. I see him here supporting/helping the community quite often.

Rod -- you captured a point I intended and forgot to make. That whole "one per gallon" thing is absurd. In my 150, I have 24 tongan nass and I put 6 of those in my fuge. I added about 50 ceriths, maybe 20 trochus, and 20 nerites, again, puting about 20% of those into the fuge.

Don't fall for the one per gallon thing or you'll have the die-off, as Rod indicated.

BTW he is also an excellent source and I plan to fix my cuke-avoidance problem soon with a trip to his shop ... need to buy lottery tix first though...
