Cleaner Clown

Can someone please tell me why my female Maroon clown keeps on brushing her tail to flick all the sand away untill she hit the glass bottom? When i brush the sand back she will clean is all away again...

Another thing is she will push anything away from the Lobo coral she is hosting at the moment.

More info:
The paired up male maroon is host a torch coral 10cm away and they don't come together unless they are scared or when feeding.

I think the answer to this would be...because it's a clown. Who knows why they do some of the things they do.
