Cleaner Magnet for 1" Acrylic Tank.

Hi,

I have a 1" thick acrylic tank and need to get a cleaner magnet. Price is an issue but I want to get something that will work well and not scratch the tank. Does anyone have any suggestions on what and where I can buy? I got a great white before but felt it was too strong for my tank, although it could have been because I didn't clean the outside wall. Thanks.

IMO, magnets and acrylic do not mix well. To much chance of something getting in between a scratching the tank. I assume with 1 inch you have a pretty big tank, but I would suggest cleaning by hand with a soft plastic scraper if possible.

I use mag floats myself, but my tank is glass.
