The newest resident to the reef is a Cleaner Shrimp (Lysmata amboinensis) seems to have a bad/good side to him that I didn't know about. He hunt down and killed the gorilla crab has been living under the rock. The shrimp has also decided that the crabs home was nicer than his and has set up camp under his rock.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour?

In all likelihood, the crab either molted or died and you saw the shrimp with the discarded skeleton or body. That being said, I love the personality of the L. ambionensis! Mine started out bashful, but is now quite the fun specimen to observe.
