I already have one Labroides dimidiatus, he's in perfect health. Got this fish for 2 years now...my friend close he's reef tank. My question is, Can I put a second cleaner to my tank..or mine will kill the new one ?! Is someone here that ever try this before ?
Thanks

I assumed cleaner wrasses were protogynous hermaphrodites, but I'm not sure. I tried pairing, and it went terribly. I've also seen them at LFS's attacking each other... I personally wouldn't do it.

Whilst I have no experience personally with this Iv'e read that they do form harems in the wild with the largest dominant one becoming the male and the rest females. But that being said I'm yet to hear of anyone successfully doing so in the home aquarium, so IMO I'd just stick with the one.

I've always heard they are only in pairs, which aggressively protect their cleaning "station"...
