Cleaning a deco rock?

I recently bought a 6100 stream from a fellow reefer and there is a deco rock included. How should I go about cleaning it so that there is no die off on it from his tank that will contaminate my tank?

You could use bleach and water and then just rinse it real well or run it on a low temp setting in the dishwasher.
