Cleaning of Storage Containers...

I recently got my new RO/DI unit and a friend of mine gave me a few of his salt water storage containers, about 3 gallons each, to fill for him. His containers however are filthy inside as if they have a film of brown algae....I would hate to put good water in them so what would be the best way to clean them out before I fill them up? Thanks in advance.

A 50/50/50 mix of water, white vinegar and manual scrub down will clean them right up. Rinse and drain well with clean water...good to go.
