Clear PVC primer

Does anyone know where in the Roseville, Cirtus Heights, Folsom, or Orangevale area I can buy the clear primer for PVC-not purple?

Home Depot and Lowes both carried it the last time I was looking.

The two I looked at didn't have it. I'll look at other stores, and OSH.

It was a few years ago. I almost never use primer on tank stuff.


I give each joint a quick scuff with some sandpaper and cement away. I've never had a failure.

I buy Christie's Red Hot Blue Glue

It'a a primer and glue in one, and if you apply carefully, when you are finished you will only see a tiny bead of blue arround the joints. It's really thick so it does not run down the pipe like the other primer and glues.

I found some at the Folsom Lowes. The primer softens the material, but for most tank stuff pressure is low...
