Clear PVC where to buy?

Not that I know of.. maybe you could get a group purchase together. I wouldn't mind 2 feet of the 4" if you wanted to make the jump up to that. Either way I would't be surpised if you could get a group of a few guys to buy a few feet each.

Why not use extruded acrylic?

price??? and flanges would be hard to make. i need it for a testing fixture to test pumps, NW, ventures....

i do have a router table. maybe i can make my own flanges. thats a good question Prugs.

Depending on how big of flanges you're thinking of making, you could easily use a "circle cutter". I recently bought one at my local Ace Hardware.

If you have access to a decent drill press they are excellent. They could be used with a variable speed drill, but I prefer a drill press.

So youââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢re going to use clear tubing to measure how high different needle wheel pumps/venturis push? I hope you have a way to measure the air intake because thatââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s the first thing everyone will want to know ~ if you know what I mean.

Will you be making a chart or an Excel spreadsheet showing your results? Will you be measuring the height of the water line? If so you could just do a ââ"šÂ¬Ã…"œsight glassââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ type of thing. You could use PVC pipe which would obviously be real cheap, just a couple of 90Ã"šÃ‚° elbow barbed fittings and some clear hose. I know that wouldnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t be quite as impressive looking, but would be just as effective to show the water.

Thanks Randy thatââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s a good idea. I have a circle cutter and a drill press. The flange I need now is square shape. I think I no how to do it on my router table.
I guess I will have to get a flow meter too. Im really more interested in air to water ratios. But they are related.
