i current am battling a clear/milky white algae outbreak, this seemed to occur when i went from bb to shallow sand bed. was dosing tank w zeo amino's, rods coral food etc because of low nutrient system in the bb. 1st noticed in overflow/sump, now its in main tank, ive also had some cloudy water. stopped dosing everything, feeding fish every other day but still cant get rid of it. did water change, carbon/gfo change skimming wetter. all corals/fish seem ok for now. not sure where to go now. bacterial bloom, dino?
