Wow It's really starting to come together! Great job.

Well I finally gave up on building my stand because I just didn't have the time and I'm having Mike from Acrylic Creations build one for me. I just couldn't take looking at an empty tank in my garage any longer.

How are the durso pipes you built working out? I'm planning on borrowing your design if you are happen with it.

Thanks guys and gals :) I am very pleased with the way things have come along for me . It is now getting to the point where I get to sit back and watch it all fill in :) It is also time to add 2 Stream 6000's and multi into the mix for even greater flow.

David - I love the bulbs I now need to get 2 more for the PFO mini pendants that are going to go above the 90 as soon as I get 2 more bulbs ;)

Mike- The dursos have worked out just perfect and have now removed the air adjusters( as they clog being so small) and have very little noise. I also think I could use a bigger pump than my mag 1200 for the returns.

That's good to know. Approximately what size hole did you end up having on the top of the pipe?

Thanks,

Mike

3/16 I believe. Start there and go bigger if needed. Once the surging stops your hole size is sufficeint.

Okay I finally got around to finishing off my lighting :)

I am now run 3 Reef Optix III pendants it goes 14k PHX , 20k AB and 14k PHX.

I am also running 2 36inch 95 watt VHO super Atinics.

I am now upto 940 watts

Here are a few pics. All I can say is WoW it is super Bright and has a very nice color. Now I have to cut back my lighting schedual to acclimate them.

Thanks it is Really bright . The picture does the brightness no justice at all :) Even in the second pic when I covered the canopy opening to reduce glare.

Okay a construction update . I am now 1/3rd of the way done with my trimwork . Since I was unable to locate the trim I needed I made my own . Here are a few pictures of what I got done. I decide to do the tank trim areas first as that would clean the look up the best first .

Finally looking like a stand .

Thanks . It has tanken 3 days to get all that trim ready . Next I plan to finish it all saving the hard part the doors till last .

I really like how my side access doors came out . They just slide right in and out .

Alright I am now done with my to molding and bottom molding . Just need to let them dry and attach :) Next I move on to doors and the last few little trim pieces. Then I can say I am done :) Pictures coming tomorrow.

940 watts, I'm at 1594watts, my heat raises tank temp 4degrees per day, and drops @ night, how effective is your chiller???
