BTW if you notice the white spots it from it falling on top of the acan sub ech below it ...They are some mean lps . I mean jezz my lods can get wiped out by an acro but the acan subs will wipe out anything llike a hydno will.

I've got an orange crush, that over the past 8 months has killed 8 frags. Everything that falls on, or tumbles over to it is doomed.

Great pics BTW. Is that an ORA teal stag next to the pink milli?

Yeah mean arse bastards . I had a few more stung this week. But on the bright side I found a way to get rid of that xenia which sneaked its way into my tank . Yup thats right I place a sub ech right next to them . They became lunch

Okay equipment update

New JBJ 1/3rd hp chiller is going online today . Whoohoo I can now give my 40amp house ac a break and let a 7 amp chiller do the work . I hope this will help keep my electric out of the $500 month range durning summer rates here in AZ

well I will know shortly how the chiller works house ac has been raised from 76 to 80 and the chiller is running now trying to bring it down 1 degree to see how long it cycles for .

going from 79 to 78. So far it has been cycling for 8 mins and hasn't drop a bit . Wonder if 1/2 tube is too small . Maybe i should go up to 3/4 ?

okay it took 32 mins to drop from 79 to 78.

Maybe I should have gotten the 1/4hp .

Some sort of tort ?Don't know the attached name . I got it as a 3 polyp frag 13 months ago from Northbay 101. I love it and someday I will return a frag since he lost his colony .

Wohoo I am glad to say I have cleared my bottom portion of my reef and only lps, clams and a monti or 2 remain on the bottom .

Awesome as always!!!! So how is the chiller woking out so far? Why do you think you should have gotten a 1/4 instead of a 1/3 hp? Doesn't sound like the 1/3 is overkill or anything. So how many tanks are you down to now?

Thanks Scott! Chiller is doing good . The 1/3rd is fine right now it runs only around 3 times a day . I will stick with the 1/3rd.
