well today i went ahead put together my clm (closed loop manifold)
its 1 inch all around using 2 45 degree peices at each corner to keep the flow to a maximum , 6 tees reduced to 1/2 inch (i may open them up to 3/4 inch)
and wouldnt you know with my bad luck I BROKE MY PUMP (noooooooooooooooooooooooo)!!!!!!!!!!!
so now my manifold is sitting in place not in use

well anyway i now need a pump so
can ne1 advise me on a suitable replacement pump i will need to get
i was going for about 2000 - 3000 gph
keep in mind i'm on a budget and dont have the money to get a 300 or more dollar pump (budget is $150.00)
i was thinking a quiet one 9000 (2300gph)
the sequence series pumps are nice but very pricey for my budget
circulation now is handled by 2 maxijets - so i need to get this done quick

i would use a mag drive 18, 24, or 36. all are below $200 and work great. i've had 4 of the quiet ones sieze up. but if you can come up with the money for a sequence dart (3600gph) go with it. the dart uses about half the power and that will be better on your wallet in the long run.

on the good side
the quiet one 600 is an awesome pump for use in making new saltwater
i used to use 1 mj 1200 ph and flow for a week or more b4 i do my water changes
now with this 1500 gph pump in my make up can i bet i can get it done in hrs not days
TONS of flow in a 32gallon trash can
