how can you tell if your anemone is a clone?

there's a serial number under the foot.

i dont think there's a way you can tell. is there a reason why you want to know though?

i dont know.. cuz people always refer to their anemone as a clone or what not.. and is there a difference?

Clone Anemone just means you are getting a split from an Anemone that is already in captivity. No way you can tell, unless the owner/seller claims the Anemone split in his tank.

Clones are more like tank raised/bread fish. Probably have a much better chance in captivity than just being taken from the wild. Thats why people like to say they have a clone (or are selling a clone).
