I going to make a 75 gal a close loop i need some help with size of bulk heads to uses. if you know any one or have done this. or if it just the pro's and con's. thanks.

What kind of pump are you going to use? Need to know what kind of flow/fittings you're talking about, then we can help you out :)

Ryan not sure what pump to use Tiny tool is going to do the glass work. just not sure what bulk heads to use.

I want good flow I didnt wanna use power heads . I got a 47 gal refuge and it is 48 in long that will go under my tank in the cabinet

Well, still need some more information. First off, what are you looking to keep in the tank? sps and the like? Are you looking for a high flow system, or a system with high flow and medium/low flow areas?

I don't personally see cons in setting up a closed loops. Maximum flow from a given pump at zero head pressure. I would personally incorporate a couple eductors to make the system that much more efficient, but still try to leave some areas of lower flow to keep some lps (I don't care how great a fuzzy stick can look, the lps corals are the best looking things by far :) )

The pump you use and the placement/size of bulkheads depends on what kind of flow you want throughout your tank. I'll actually be drilling a 75 tomorrow to accomodate a high-flow open loop through a sump. Haven't been able to convince the tank owner of the benefits of a closed loop.

There are a lot of options, we need to know more about what you want out of your tank before we can make suggestions.

Ryan we should start with 1 1/2 for all holes. have you seen a close loop work are they neat is the flow good.
