For about a 55gallon display, I was thinking about going with a Sequence Snapper as a closed loop pump with a OM 4-way. The problem is where to put the outputs. I thought about two on the backwall, and two on the bottom front, but then there's the problem of drilling and space under the sump for all the plumbing and equipment for the closed loop.
Instead, I found Tunze Nano Streams (coming out later this year), which are magnetically mounted, and only 2.7" diameter of space, which isn't much bigger than closed loop outputs / bulkheads. It also draws less wattage and can be controlled. I'm thinking two of these babies (1400gph each) with a controller would do pretty well as extra water movement.
What would you suggest? 4 outputs with a sequence snapper and om 4-way, or two tunze nano streams mounted on the back upper two corners of the tank?
Thanks!!
