Well I broke down and bought some vortechs. Then decided against them after seeing JNAROWES thread. Now I bought 4-6100's with 7095 multicontroller. Hopefully they will work out ok. Got a good deal on them so I cant complain too much.
Im actually going with the same set up but with a neptune controller...where did you get the deal??? PM me...thanks

Wow! Seriously! Now I am not so bummed out that I can't use the Vortechs! I sure did love the one that I had on my 60 gallon cube though.

Anyway.

I ended up four tunzes. Two 6100s and two 6200s. I bought the AC3 with wavecontrol. I just glanced at the controller and I don't really understand how this thing will work

Oh well, back to plumbing my sump.

Let me know how that works out for you. I was considering the ACJR or AC3 but Im not quite sure yet. I hear that those units are a bit trick to set up if you don't have a PhD in computer science. :D

I feel the same way about my AC3. I have yet to get it out of the box,but I do know once I do i will need some serious help getting this thing dialed in.
I just bought a wavebox and an extension to add to my Tunze collection. So now I just need to get my tank going so I can play with all this stuff.Heres a pic of my new Dart NW skimmer.........well its in the works, not done being built. Thats next to a 4x8 sheet of sheet rock for size comparison. Came out to around 47" tall with a 12" diameter reaction chamber.

Most can't afford several waveboxes and a few streams either :) Namely myself but thanks for the videos.

The Tunze are very appealing in many ways especially with the multi controller and the waveboxes. If price was no object then I think it is the way I would go no doubt. But once you add them all together you end up with $2500-3000. Unfortunately I just cant afford them. If I ever run into a set of used Vortech's or Tunze I may jump on a couple but until then I guess I will just have to be happy with my CL.

Heres a pic of my tank can anyone suggest the best place to put my return outlets from my OM 4 way? Basically my plan is to install the Dart/Barricuda pump in the center of the tank where the drain(Im taking it out and plugging it) is. Then run pvc up from there and hitting the OM 4way. Now I cant decide where to put the outlets, either on the back wall or go up to the top and drop down some outlets about 2/3 of the way towards the front in the top of the tank, then use some OM Revolutions. Any thoughts?(The tank is obviously not going to be set up on the ground,it is just sitting there until I get my fish room done :))

who built your tank for you. I'm in the market of purchasing a 96x36x25 glass tank with external overflows.

A guy local to me. He does it as a hobby. He does Acrylic only.

There are several glass tank builders, depending on how much you want to spend.
