all 3 of my clams are not looking so good all of a sudden. i have 2 croceas and 1 derasa, all of them on the sand under halides. had them for at least 6 months now, all of them very "flappy" and colorful, even the derasa. just the other day they all pulled back their mantles, not fully closed up but almost. i let it go for a day to see if they were just irritated by something. nope, today they look the same. i'm kinda worried.

Have you recently changed bulbs?

No, same bulbs. I'm trying to remember if I've done anything differently, or added anything new. I really don't think so, my routine is the same.

my MH's are about 7 months old, the T-5's are about the same.

oh crap. never thought of that.
the wife sprayed some ant spray in the garage an the smell drifted into the living room where the tank is. that might be it.
hope they survive.
