I have a 46 gallon reef and it has been doing very well lately corals growing well and everything. Just last night we had a get together over at the house and it was crystal clear cause i was showing it off. I work second shift and when i got home tonight the tank has gotten a tad bit cloudy. We did turn the heat off in the house for last night because of all the people and there might have been a 2 degree drop in temp to around the 75-77 range. I don't know if that could be the culprit or not. I also noticed that my long tentacle anemone i completely balled up to about the size of a quarter and it is usually about the size of a grapefruit fully out when the lights are on. All water conditions are normal no spikes in nitrates or anything like that. I'm stumped! Any info will be great
Thanks

running carbon should help clear it out, sometimes that happens in my tankwhen the water is low though. I simply top it off & done.

I think it might have been my clarkii clown throwing sand all over the place because i woke up this morning and it looks better and the anemone is back out to the way it normally is when the lights are out. I topped off the water it was a little low so it might have had something to do with what bernie was saying above.
Thanks for the comments glad it was something simple
