i tranfer evrything on this tank like a month ago , the other tank was set up for about a year , i used new sand , only thing i did lately was put chaeto on my sump, the chaeto is in the compartment were the return drains w a sock filter , i clean the pump and white lil pieces of white chaeto came out , i didnt had a light on the chaeto for 1 day , its this caused cause of the chaeto anything i can do to clear up my water , i already put a clean sock filter on

Let me get this straight. You moved everything into this new tank?
You added cheato.
Where did you clean the pump? In the sink? With vinegar? What did you use? Why did you clean the pump?
No, cheato will not die in one day without light.
30% water changes and a filter sock. Cloudy water doesn't carry as much oxygen as clear. Be sure your fish are breathing well. If this goes on, put all fish into quarantine for safety until your tank is ok.

i did the transfer like a month ago everything was fine til i added the chaeto . ro. was use to clean the pump , in a bucket w water , i clean cause i seen small white pieces of chaeto coming out when i turn off the pump ,already replace the filter w a clean one , im making water as we speak , i will keep an eye on my fish

Having Chaeto loose enough to get into your pump is not a good thing. I put egg crate between my macro algae and my return pump to prevent it getting sucked into the pump.
