My 45g reef tank has been running for 4 months now, but the water still looks clowdy. When I turn off the pump, I see tiny little white specs floating in the water that appear suspended, they don't sink or rise.
To clean up my water, do I need more filtration. Right now, I just run an over sized protien skimmer and a 100 micron filter sock pumping 1200 gallons per hour through my small 45 gallon tank. Or, maybe my high flow is stirring thing up too much?
