clown being weird

I have had this ocell clown for a long time it has always been solo. Decided to buy it a friend and long story short they moved in together seem very happy together.. But my original clown is not leaving the zoa's he just lays in them while the new one swims near and above.. Original clown has not ate in 4 days? He acts interested but wont eat just swims back into the zoa's? I have tryed everything lol garlic favorite foods etc even squirted some with a turkey baster his way and nothing... Clown gonna kill himself because he got a friend or what? lol... Should I get rid of the new one? Thanks)

Sometimes clowns act funny, my picasso went on a hunger strike for a week when I added her mate. Give her time, she should come around.
