I have a pair of clowns- female percula about 2 inc and a. ocellaris male about 1,5 inch.

They have benn doing great, almost 24 hrs together, hosting my anemone H Crispa, but since 2 days ago, the female is being kind of hard on him, and hes away from the female and from the anemone.

They ocasionaly are in the same space without agression but seems they have an argue, like wife and husband.

Is it normal? i read that females when pairing sometimes try to make their point in who´s leading the couple, could be the case?

I made it bare bottom one week ago, but dont think it had any thing to do with it.

My female perc was a bit harder on the male for awhile. Nothing too dramatic, but would let him know who was boss at feeding time. He did his submission dance all the time and eventually, she got over it. They swim around as a pretty happy pair now.

I have the same thing happening in my tank. About 5 months ago I added a magnifica into the tank and ever since the female has been aggressive towards the male. They were also laying eggs before the anemone was introduced as well. I'm really hoping that the female will allow the male into the magnifica soon.
