Clown egg question

When aerating a clownfish nest, should the bubbles actually touch the eggs or just pass close by them to make a slight current?

OK...thats the way I have it now. The eggs are reflecting silver so I expect them to hatch soon!! Thanks :)

OK...every egg has hatched and I have around 25 fry. The problem is that most of them are keeping their noses against the glass! The ones swimming around have silver bellies. I have them in a round glass 2 gallon container and the sides are covered with black paper. I have a small light above the tank. How do I get them to get off of the sides?

Do you have phyto? If so add some to tint the water green, with enough tinting the larvae will come away from the sides. Yet another reason green water is a breeders best friend :) If not, play with the light height till they come away from the sides.

What type of clownfish are you raising ? I agree with Bill, tint the water with live phyto and dim the light. I'm using a night light above my larvae tank. Seems to be working this time.

I had to make it quite green before they started swimming around. They are all hunting and have full silver bellies! They are onyx perculas and this is their first spawn :D

Great it sounds like you are well on your way. We need PICS! Turn your camera to macro and snap away.. Turn off the flash though.
