Clown face

Does anyone know if my clowns faces will stay orange? My girlfriend thinks that they are getting blacker. We've had them for about six weeks.

Their faces will get darker and become completely black.

The female is getting there, the male still has an orange face.

I have seen a full grown adult with an orange face before...
