Guys, I woke up around 3 AM (for no reason) and went to see my tank. My tank was full of fry! I was extremely shocked because I didn't even know my clowns laid eggs. They had been EXTREMELY aggressive in the past couple weeks. I wasn't even suspecting this. This is the first time any saltwater fish spawned in my aquarium. So I was super excited and woke my wife up and made her come take a look. I got a few curse words I think.
Last night, I actually turned my sump off because I just got some sand from poidog (Eric) for my fuge. Even after washing the sand with saltwater, it made the sump a little hazy and I just didn't want to cloud up my display. I was supposed to do a water change in the morning. I'm glad I turned my sump off because otherwise all these guys would end up in the sump and become a part of the skimmate and I would never have noticed. I dont know how they survived with the MP10 blowing them everywhere.
Just because this is my first time, I am interested in rearing these guys and see how they do. I'm sure due to my lack of knowledge and unpreparedness they will all probably end up dying. So far, I have siphoned off these guys with a small airline tubing. I don't have any spare tanks available right now. I'm waiting for stores to open so I can get all the materials I need. My major issue at this time is feeding. Where do I buy rotifers from? I am going to look for cyclopeeze for now but if anyone can help me out I will be extremely thankful.
Thanks
