clown fish id

i was sold this clown fish as a clarkii but i was thinking it might be a allardi? can anyone one id from this picture? i know its not the best.:spin1:

pretty sure you have yourself a clarkii.

head band doesnt triangle enough and the mid bar is too wide.

I have to go with juvenile allardi. The tail and the way the center bar extends into the dorsal, and sweeps back, says juvenile allardi to me.

its is a juvi still about 2in. i just wasnt to sure but the tail was also making me think it is a allardi. i love this little guy doesnt back down to anything! anyone else want to give it a shot? i will try to get better picture.

Allardi clowns always have at least a little bit of yellow between the brown body and their white tail. Many times it is just a small triangle of yellow at the base of the caudal area.
Here is an internet pic that shows this triangle. Your fish is a clarki.

i agree with you all now that its a clarkii. i can see the difference with the wide middle band and the way the head stripe does not contour down. i might be picking up another larger one over the weekend.
