Clown fish really thin and with mouth injury

hi all !

Well as the tittle states I have a Wyoming clownfish, in the past week it seems to have lost some massive weight.

Its not parasites (I already treated the QT with prazipro, and cupramine). Along with other antibacterial medicine.

I can see a injury in the mouth, the lips in the side are not ok, could be from a fight from another clownfish.

The problem is that when I feed, he goes after the food, but only takes small bits to specific sizes of pellets, its not eating mysis either.

He is constantly looking for food when I approach, but looks very picky when trying to eat something. He gets some in the end, but not enough Im sure.

Any suggestion are appreciated.

THanks !

here are some pics of the guy, I put it in the display tank along with all the fish that were in QT.

There is a lot of microfauna that he can eat, hopefully that will help him.

well today the fish dosent look good at all. I think its in the final hours :(

Its way to thin and no matter what I do I cant seem to feed him with proper ammounts of food to make it better.

He is know in the sand, stuck his head into a rock, I suppose he dosent want to move.

At this point I dont know what else I could do.

I stumbled across your thread while looking for suggestions to deal with aggression between two ocellaris clowns. How did it turn out? I'm sorry about your fish and am surprised that no one came on to offer some help. I usually find people really helpful around here.

In most cases the fighting start when the first become mature and start spawning. At that point the chasing may start.
But it might be worth to wait and see.
If you add another one later it is far more likely that he is getting to be picked on.
