The Past couple of days my mated pair of Pink skunk clown fish are treating my open brain like a anemone ... is this something that is normal? didn't know if they were thinking about laying eggs or what they were doing since it was the first time that I have seen them do it...

Perfectly normal I have seen them host everything mine hosted torches and frogspawn when i had skunks

I have a small Maroon clown who would "host" any coral I put in a certain area.It hasn't happen after I changed the tank around,I kinda miss it,it was kinda cute.

ok... thanks... so is there a way to tell when/if they lay eggs?

Just look for the signs...Often the clowns will start to "clean off" an area (usually a vertical surface), or will start to do a twitch-like dance over the area, too. How long have you had the clowns? They say it takes about a year for them to feel comfortable enough to start laying. And once they lay, they do it often.

Strange...

This used to be green until these guys started...

They may be irritating it and keeping it partially closed or simply shading it so it's getting less light and darkens as it harbors a higher volume of zooxanthelae to make up the difference.

My pair of picasso's are always all over my brain coral. They love that thing. And the brain is always open so yours might just need to adjust to it if it started to close a bit and loose some coral.
