He disappeared in a tank move, and never resurfaced. Its still a mystery what happened to him. Great little fish though.

I have 2 black ones in my 72g. The one lives in my horn coral and the other perches on some green fingerleather with my sailfin blenny. It's funny to see the two different fish chillin on the piece of coral. My roommate has a citron clown goby and he looks pretty cool.

I have a pair of TR green clown gobies and some SPS. So far one of them will occasionally sit in the branching coral, but I haven't seen him/her nipping at it and the coral doesn't see any worse for the wear. It's Montipora digitata, not Acropora (which is their natural host), so I don't know if that makes any difference or not.

They're not very aggressive feeders, so make sure that they're eating well. I'm thinking of getting a baster and target-feeding mine, just to make sure they get enough.

those are super sweet pics my favorite ones are the blue ones theyre so hard to find, i cannot help but buy one every time i see them at my LFS. my yellow one is MIA im sure he'll pop up

well an update, i cannot find my yellow or my green one, im so tired of buying these fish and losing them, why are they considered easy to care for yet i lose them, and not any other fish

I haven't had the greatest luck with them either (keeping my fingers crossed for this pair). Barring being eaten by tankmates, getting ich, starving, or any other mishaps, I wonder if they're just naturally short-lived, like some of the little Gobiosoma cleaner goby species that normally only live a couple of years.

If you really like little bitty gobies, though, you might could consider a pair of ORA tiger gobies. I love mine. They're not colorful like the clown gobies, but they're very hardy and easy to take care of, and they're not as timid as my clown gobies, who mostly hide when I come near the tank.
