Any one have any info on the breeding of yellow clown gobies.
Would they breed in a 2o gallon long. What do they eat as young. How do you tell sexes?Pleas help me i am looking to learn to bread fish and read that clown gobies are easy to bread.

Just guessing here but I'm gonna bet Edgar is going to say that if you can sell them at all you are going to get far less than it cost you to raise them. If that is not an isue and you just want to breed for the knowledge/ experience then go for it. I thought about trying them myself but alas for me the money is an issue.

Lets say that I would do it for the heck of it.
What kind of cash would it coast to raise them and how hard would it be .

Also are there any beginer bredable fish that i could at least brake even on?

David M it says in your interests that you breed bangaii cardinals ?

I read that they are easy to breed is this true.
What would it take to breed them.

The irony in breeding marine tropical fish is that the easiest possible fish to raise is clearly the most profitable. What other business can boast this? Once agin I repeat: Raise ocellaris first, use the money to finance any other endeavor. This only applies if money is an issue, for those who have strong incomes anyway and want to breed for the love of it there are dozens if not scores of species to work with. If your interest is driven by passion rather than profit you have a virtually unlimited playground. The industry actually depends on altruistic experimentation, just make sure you document and share any successes and someone in the right position will take it to the next level :D Your breakthrough could go down in history as the beginning of captive breeding for a particular species. No, you won't get rich, BUT you will definately get a lot of attention and you get "big fish" status :smokin:
