clown goby wont eat..Help!

I just recently purchased a clown goby and cannot get him to eat. He seems to want to eat, and everytime I put food in there he eats it and spits it out. I have tried mysis, flake, and photoplankton. Any Ideas?

Try some live blackworms or enriched live Artemia. You also might try some Nutramar ova or cyclopeeze once it begins to eat. It should also go for live pods.

I had the same problem. The only prepared food my clown goby would eat at first was the Ocean Nutrition red Formula 1 gel food. He ate this like crazy. After a while, he moved on to other prepared foods, although he will still spit out frozen mysis, even if it is shaved into tiny pieces.
