I bought a beautiful "Condi" anenome last week, and both my clowns have started hosting with it...? common or not so common thing?
The condi seems to dig........and the clowns look happier now...?
No one seems distressed.....

IME, it depends upon the clown species. With clarkii clowns, for example, I find that at least one pair in every shipment accepts Condylactis--usually much more. Other less finicky ones, like tomato, and cinnamon clowns do, albeit, to a lesser degree. Ocellaris and percula rarely do (but have in the past) as well as maroons.

ok...just never seen True Percula's (thats what I have) do it....
regardless, they all seem fine and happy...thats the bottom line.
The clowns have even started bringing food to the condi......

I have two false and a condy, but they stay away from each other. My clowns decided the feather duster was a better home for them. Go figure ....

My Yellow Striped Maroon is hosting with a condy. I was told when we bought it that a clown wouldn't host in it but he went right to it the first day. I guess he was tired if hosting my leather tree coral.
