True or False Perc? I'm pretty sure on what it is, but want to see some objective POV's on what it is.

Thanks guys :D

For those voting true perc, what are your reasons?
While I am not a voter, folks frequenlty believe darker bodies are percula.....suppose they have not seen the Black and White Ocellaris before ;>)

Alright, I concede. The more I'm looking at pictures of both, mine does look more like an ocellaris. as traveller said, I was stuck on the coloration as the defining feature. Thanks for all the input all :D

I vote false :)

How much you pay for it? (yes, it actually tell you)

Honestly, I don't remember as it was a good 7 months ago. It was sold to me as a true perc, though...

True perc. Look like wc onyx.
b/w occ has longer body and fins should be dark also (unless they are juv). Of all the b/w occ that I have seen, the head should be black (except around the mouth as juv). Just my opinion.

ocs from australia are generally dark bodied but not necessarily melanistic.

tangarine ocellaris clowns come to mind

It is a possible cross of the orange and black variants of A. Ocellaris, but definatly an A. Ocellaris none the less. One of the easiest signs is the outter ring of the eye. You will note a "Muddy" or "Tea Stained" appearance in this clown where as A. Percula show clear and extremely bright orange coloration of their outter ring.
