Clown keeps killing the other clown

i had a pair of clowns and they were very happy. One got really big and the other stayed small.

However, I since got an anemone and the big clown sleeps there by itself. The other clown started get weak and died. I thought nothing of it and got another clown. Once I put it in, they immediately started to fight. After a few days, the new clown died again.

Does this mean I can only keep on clown?

Clownfish become territorial and will keep harassing any other clownfish you add to the tank unless you add them at the same time. Talk to a LFS and explain your situation they might take the one clown you have now if you agree to buy a pair of clowns, thats what a LFS did for me.

I saw or read somewhere that if you add another clown it needs to be bigger than the one already in your tank. I'm not 100% sure about that info so hope someone can say if this is correct.
Even if it is its not a guaranty it would work.
