Clown Laying on Bottom??? Help

Hey guys Ive had my 2 clowns for about a month now
everything was going great then yesterday i noticed the larger of the 2 laying down at the bottom of the tank where she normally sleeps....when i approach the tank she perks up and starts swimming around but then will find her way back almost as if she is napping?
She eats and doesn't have any signs of disease
water par are all on the up and up
any advice would be appreciated

She's a lazy clown.

I believe if she is eating then she is doing fine. First sign of problems is when the fish don't eat.

i hope so.....its kinda scary to see her that way
but i guess if i was a fish i would try and take as many naps as possible...lol

im no clown expert, but i had a clown that did this for about 4 months... would scare me a couple times, but like yours when i walked over the tank, perked right up, very active swimming, but walked away..boom layed back down again almost like a nap... the clown was healthy as could be as far as i could tell...

ok cool im glad its some what normal
if anything else happens i will be sure to update the little guys status

My male does this all the time. Lazy bum needs to find a job and do something with his life .

My female clarkii in my pair does this. Both fish are extremely healthy and are breeding. It had me concerned for a while too.

ahhhh what can you expect when dealing with a bunch of clowns......lol
