Clown Lost her color

I have two GS Maroons, and the larger one (female) has lost alot of her color in the past month or so. The male's color is just fine, as well as the other fish in the tank.

Her yellow stripes are not yellow anymore, and her maroon is a pale red color. Yes she looks worse at night, you can definitly see a difference between the two. Its like night and day.

I have tried everything, vitimins, garlic, selcon, different types of foods. She loves to eat flakes and pellets. They both dont eat the mysis or perfect reef.

Dont know what to do!!

She is only 2 1/2 to 3 inches long. She is not that old. I tried to get some pics yesturday but she would not come out of the anemone when I was taking them.

Is she WC or CB? In WC clowns, size is not often a good indicator of age, as any fish locked into the ungendered layers of the community structure, and even males, tend to grow very slowly for many years, if at all, thus staying small even though they could be quite old.

Pictures might help, but I can't think of anything off the top of my head.

I see. Probably not old age then.

You do know that maroons can change their color almost instantly, right? The most common change is when the white bands turn dark grey. (Although I'm not sure what color the bands of GSM turn to.)

Apart from the color, is she acting normally?

Yep I think she is. Her Yellow bands are all white now!! She looks like a regular White Stripe Maroon. Her fin tips are not black like the other GS Maroon. They never were, but her yellow stripes did change to white.

What is WC / BC?
