Clown Pair?

Hello, well I just got 2 ocellaris clowns from the LFS and they were the nicest looking clowns in the tank of like 10 clowns so I go them. They weren't already swimming with each other when I saw them at the LFS but just swimming around. Well I got home acclimated them and set them free into my tank. They immediately started swimming side by side in the tank with a few seizures and nips here and there. They seem to be a pair to me as if one gets too far the other will readily follow and they are always together, even when they sleep. So does this kind of mean that that are an established pair already? And soon a mated pair? I can kind of pick out the more dominant one but they are both fairly nice to each other.
Thanks! :fish1::fish1:

Sounds like what you have now would be called a "bonded" pair.
When they spawn, that would be called a mating pair.
The one w/ "seizures" or what we call twitching would be the male, and I bet that puppy dogs to the larger female.

One more question: Do the clowns Need to host before they spawn? As i see when people have spawns the clowns are at least hosting something for the protection of the eggs. Thanks
