Clown pairing

Ive got a question. I recently aquired a pair of clowns however one *the male* died from the transport. So now im left with this female. I have another clown of the same specis *occ..*suppose they would ever pair up and spawn if they were in a clown/anenome dominate tank? Or is it a lost hope?

For what its worth. I have a large tomato clown (female) that has been in the tank for two years. I took a chance and bought a small tomato clown (hoping it was a male). I put him in, and the female just charged him for a few hours (never biting him), but by the end of the day they were pals sharing an anemone. It is a risk though. The large clown could have easily killed the small one. Large females dominate the species...

Thanks for the advise. This one is a larger female, and she looks so lost now without her bud swimming around.

Ive got the other small male which was about the same size as the male that just went to clown hevean, and hes like a bastard child in my tank. Ive got another pair, but they wont allow him to get near their anenome (which was his to begin with) but he kinda swims around the tank like a lost puppy dog ...er clownfish.

You probably need another anemone now for the other clown now. It sounds like he's out of the other clown family. My book says that if the other clowns get along, and are male & female, they will probable start reproducing...
