Clown showing too much love...stress

So I have had a saddleback clown for over a year who is very happy healthy. I have in the past 3 days added a beautiful green LTA that I absolutely love. Unfortunately, I have noticed that the LTA will dig in to my sand and appear very healthy/happy right up until my clown starts to get too cozy in it's tentacles. The clown is not biting it, but just a LOT of heavy snuggling. He really loves it, feeds it, which is awesome! But within hours of this affection the LTA starts to uproot and move. I know the ideal answer is to remove the LTA to allow it time to grow but does anyone have any suggestions that might allow me to leave him in the tank? Also, should I just give it a few days/weeks to see if the LTA will adjust to having a new friend? Otherwise he looks marvelous, takes the shrimp I offer him every 2-3 days. Oh, and hi is in a 55 gallon with some other coral but no anemone. Water quality is good

I would see how it plays out... If the fish is snuggling so intensely that it is physically uprooting the nem, then you may need to separate the two for a bit to let the nem get a good hold in a favorable location. If the nem is intentionally uprooting itself in response to the fish's behaviors, then you may need a different solution. Regardless, I would give the two some time to figure it out before making any changes. Maybe someone else has a different strategy...

Make a cube without a bottom out of egg crate and zip ties and set it over the anemone to give it a break from the clown until it gets fully established. I would let the clown be with it until you see it starting to move then put the cube over it. I think in time the anemone will get use to the clown and stay put. Time will tell.

You could also use a strawberry basket.

Happy Friday!
