I have recently bought a large clown tang, about 6 inches. It likes to swim around the top of the tank alot coming out of the water. Has anyone heard of them jumping out of the tank? I'm a little worried about him.

I've never heard of them jumping out of the tank.

is he just swimming at the top? or does it look like he's gasping for air?

Is he in your 90 gallon? He may be stressed from being so large in a small area.

I was thinking the same thing. A 90g is small for a large, fast fish like that.

Any fish is a potential jumper. Some are more prone to it than others, but I've seen frogfish go carpet surfing, so just about anything can.

I'm with everybody else on this one, the fish is too big for a 90gal. Maybee if you would have gotten a Juvenile you 'might' be ok. But simply put the fish is to big for your tank.

Are all the fish on your list in your 90gal. IMO you are waaayyy overstocked with waaayyy too big of fish.
