Clown trigger

How big chance do I stand with a Clown Trigger not turning nasty in a 480g tank if I want to keep a Volitans Lionfish, eels and some other large fish such as a twin spot coris, naso tang, panther grouper and tassled filefish?

I only have some soft corals such as a leather, colt, mushrooms, star polyps and zoanthids.

So to clarify, as a final fish count I want to have:
1 Zebra Eel
1 Snowflake Eel
1 Bird Wrasse
1 Twin Spot Coris
1 Tassled Filefish
1 Panther Grouper
1 Naso Tang
1 Foxface

If I add to this list a Volitans Lionfish and a Clown trigger, would
1) They have enough space - even fully grown - to not become aggressive or stressed
2) the biological filter become overloaded?

I have a Deltec AP902 skimmer, 158g sump with refugium/cheato, DSB in main display (about 5-6"), about 120kg LR.

Even in a 480, you need to watch the Clown Trigger very carefully. I'm sure you already know that they are one of the most aggressive fish you can get and IMO should not be kept with lionfish as they have been known to pick on their fins. I also know several people that have lost their lions to a clown trigger's aggressive behavior. Just my $.02

i agree with jenn. i would very much avoid a clown trigger in your tank. they can be peaceful for a while but sooner or later, a lot of clown trigs will just go psycho. i dont think volume is a problem here... the clown trigs are just psycho, that's all. have you considered the more peaceful triggers like crosshatch, pinktail, blue throat or niger? ive always wanted a pinktail myself.

the lion wouldn't be a bad addition. just make sure all your other fish wont fit in the lions mouth... but then you're probably already aware of that danger considering you have a grouper in there. avoid a lion that isnt already weaned on to frozen. in a tank like yours it would be very hard to wean a lion with all that competition going on.

i dont think the bio filter is a big consideration yet in a 480. but since they are sizeable fish waste heavy, only add one of the fish at a time and allow some time between the additions. I would add the trig last since it is the more aggressive of the two.
