Clown vs. Kole tang

Purchased a new kole tang and put him in an isolation box in my DT.seems my female percula clown will not leave it alone.no harm done yet because she can't get to it,am reconsidering releasing the tang or giving it away.thoughts?

How big is the tank? Is the isolation box in the clown's territory? If so, maybe move it to the other side of the tank. Clowns can be mean sobs.

Tank is 65 gal,I have never seen the clowns move out of there area in 2 years but they are at the tang constantly.up to now the tank has been very peaceful,I'll give it another day or two to see what happens

Just a guess but after the tang is released you'll have some temporary issues and then things will settle down. I'd try it.

let the tang out this am..definitely being bullied by the pair, all over the tank.i feel bad,the tang already has some marks on it,but i couldnt catch him...hoping the peace returns. didnt know my pair could be so aggressive.although now they are spawning regularly(already have about 20 babies doing well)maybe its motherly behavior
