\Clownfish/ 29 Gallon BioCube Tank

Question: How old would it be okay for my tank to take in an anemone? My tank is currently 1 month and 1 week old. I'm looking into this type and this color. Metallic Rose Bubble Tip

A lot of people use a rule of thumb of 6 months old before adding any anemones. I've added some at a month old before but I think 6 months is a good rule to follow.

clown personally I am avoiding an anemone for some time due to how they move and could get sucked into overflow or a PH nuking the tank. THey never stay where you want them either...

Lol! I just saw this on Facebook before reading your comment

I guess I am going to skip the anenome and find something more cool!

The other thing is that just getting one does not guarentee that the clowns will host in them. Many captive bred clowns would rather do their own thing.

Day #35

Ph - 8.0

I forgot to post reading from yesterday but they were the same from day 35.
Torch coral came in today and it's a bit stressed so color is not as vibrant yet. I found this little guy on the glass any ideas if it's good or bad? It has 8 tentacles and a pointy thing on its head. Best pic I could get of it.

Mine looks like that star thingy. Too bad this ain't a jellyfish tank :P

Updates on the tank: got some new corals here and there, spotted a baby jelly today and placed him in a tiny vile so he wouldn't hurt anything in the tank. Last week I also spotted two brittle starfish in the rock work which is great as they will help the clean up crew when the lights are out.

Here is the tank today. Xenia has grown loads and had spread on the rock work but i sold those frags which helped me purchase other corals YAY! I bought some Rastas, Fruit Loops, and got a free frag of Sunny D zoas. The green star polyps was a piece I purchased from eBay which was a 3x3 piece and now has grown about an inch more. I know these can take over rock work but i'm okay with that. Today I received my first torch coral which I placed a picture of it a few days ago. The torch is still a bit stressed from the shipment but it's really liking the tank and regaining some color. Tomorrow will be his first feeding in the tank which i'm sure he will like. Anyway here are some pictures for you guys.

Oh and I removed the coral skeletons I had a few pictures back so I could make room for my torch and GSP

Damn hermit decided to climb onto them so they they closed up a bit
