\Clownfish/ 29 Gallon BioCube Tank

Sadly I think the frogspawn is dead :( melting away...ugh hopefully I can get a replacement. I went to my local fish store today and bought another clown. He is smaller than the other one so hopefully they pair up. Named them scully and mulder lol.

I would put inn a small tank amd watch it for a few days. Tons of people in the lps forum go through this after shipment and they eventually come back

Update: Today I will be removing all my Eshopps sponges to finally reach 0 nitrates. My nitrates have been pretty stable at 5.0 ppm but hopefully by removing them they will be stable a zero. I know my torch coral, GSP, Xenia, and rastas sure love it though :p

Will be cleaning the sand, glass, powerhead, and back wall and perform a water change. My two clowns are trying to pair up too, he keeps shaking for her to show he's submissive towards her which is exciting. Can't wait to add them to the DT :) bought a fire shrimp yesterday and placed him in DT. He's been really active picking at the rocks and cleaning between zoas. I decided to name him skinner :jester:

Clownfish are still doing great and seem to have finally stop picking at each other. Talked to the guy about the frogspawn and should get a new one on Thursday. I have been keeping an eye on the first one I had but I think all that is left is just the skeleton.

I hope so too, fingers crossed it does better than the first. What other LPS corals do you guys recommend that provided movement and a nice punch in color.

frogspawn, torch, and hammer can all be super colorful and offer tons of movement. Torches need to be seperated from the other two as they will sting each other. Frogspawn and hammers can be together.

The frogspawn is in and already looks way better than the previous one. I will be taking pictures tonight when it finally opens up.

very cool. I already got my birthday gift (the gyre) and it is in the tank so no gifts for me next week for the bday. Guess I will just have to get myself some frags though I am taking a golf trip the following weekend.....

Sweet! post pics of your frags when you get the chance, I will probably wait a two weeks before I purchase another coral. Looking for something red or blue at the moment.

I have my LFS order in a few brains for me to look at whenever I get a chance. I dont think I will make it there until Saturday afternoon at the earliest. But this weekend should have a brain or two, some ricordea, and a couple acros...

I keep saying I am done for a while but my rocks look bare and I have a vision of things growing into one another that I am trying to fulfil. My polyp rock area should be cool when the colors start to merge.

Pics for you all :fish1:
