Clownfish Abortion?

My Ocellaris Clownfish was swollen with eggs last Friday and now she looks normal!

Why would she lose the eggs?

If she layed them the male woul be close to them 24/7 right?

Could she have layed the eggs as soon as Tuesday? (5days have passed)

Females are known to absord the eggs under unfavorable conditions.

Temp swings, lights, foods, etc.

Are you sure she did not have internal parasites? An indication of parasites would be white stringy feces and abnormal appetite.

Like some one mentioned in your other post, just because a fish attacks your hand, doesn't mean she is pregnant, yet you choose to ignore this over and over again...

I really don't wanna be a dink, but if you ask a question, take into consideration all of the answers you got, and not just the ones you like.

I've seen my clowns eat their eggs before. I assume from this behavior and the answers that I received that this was because the eggs were not viable.

I wonder if your clowns did the same thing.

My Clownfish were so friendly before, they would eat out of my hand.

Now I'm not so sure that she aborted. She looks big from the front. Maybe I just bot used to the sight of her being so fat.

How long did it take for your guys' clowns to spawn after seeing she was fat?

Any pics?
