clownfish aggression?

I always thought clowns were fairly docile when except when trying to defend their host? My false perc's were pretty much buddy/buddy until yesterday. The smaller of the two has been engaging in displays and chasing the larger of them around for about a day or so now.. when the larger comes out of hiding that is. I've had them for about 2 months now , maybe more and never seen anything like it until now. Any ideas what may be going on??

so i let some time go by on this one... and it seemed like that's exactly what was going on.... the bigger one mellowed out after about 5 days of this or so.. Then a couple weeks went by and they are back at it... i feel bad cause the bigger one is just chasing the heck out of the smaller, so much so , that i took the lil guy out and threw him in my refugium. The larger had the little one backed into the top right corner and and like clockwork every 15 seconds or so would chase right back up to it and they would spin in a circle for 20 seconds or so... looked as if they were nipping at each other?? Is this part of a mating ritual or true aggression??
