Clownfish ate mushroom?

Wondering if anyone else has seen, ore heard of this. My true perc clown took a bite of one of my mushroom corals and instantly starting jetting around the tank and then having what looked like little seizures. Now she's gasping for oxygen. Just wondering if its from her sprints she was doing prior and if her breathing rate will return to normal or if I should be worried. Thanks!

How's your clownfish doing now. Just saw your post and it may be a little late but I had a chromis nibble at a zoa and I found him paralyzed next to the zoas. He slowly recovered after I put him into a net and held him directly in the flow of a powerhead. He is doing fine now.

It took about 20 min, but she "swam it off" so to speak. Breathing rate is back down. Hopefully she learned to not do that again, hasn't swam over in that direction since. Haha
